Humarea 1.3.0: A revamped Club Humarea, achievements, challenges, and a map that’s finally easy to see

We’ve been working on this update for weeks, and it’s finally ready. This isn’t just a minor patch; it’s a complete overhaul of how we welcome you to Humarea, how we recognize your long-term presence, and how you share your activity here with the rest of the world. Let’s break it down.

🍯 Humarea Club, Revamped

We’ve finally separated your role (who you are in the community—e.g., user, pioneer, business) from your subscription (your Humarea Club tier). This means, among other things, that if you’re a pioneer or a business owner and you become a member, you won’t lose your badge—a previous issue that we were eager to fix.

Two clear tiers: Member and Member Pro. Each comes with its own limits for storage, private blends, featured stories, and price-drop alerts in the "Rastro" (marketplace/listings). Member Pro users also get access to profile statistics and the current value of their collection.
Paywalls now appear only when relevant, rather than immediately upon opening the app. For instance, when you go to save your 16th flavor, 4th private blend, or 2nd featured story, we’ll explain the benefits of a membership—and the free tier now allows for one featured story.
The annual plan is now more prominent, with the actual savings (16%) clearly displayed. We also want to remind our early members that your original "Founding Member" pricing remains in effect as long as you keep your subscription active.
Member Business Pro: A second tier designed for lounges and shops, offering more weekly broadcasts, greater visibility, and an expanded set of the benefits found in the standard Member Business tier.
Before you cancel, we’ll show you exactly what you’d lose—using your own real data, such as the value of your collection, private blends, and featured stories—and offer alternatives, like a free month or the option to pause your subscription for 1–2 months instead of leaving entirely. ## 🏆 Achievements, Challenges, and Streaks

This is brand new: Humarea now recognizes your activity with actual achievements.

Public achievement showcase on your profile. Achievements unlock automatically based on your activity (blends created, votes, reviews, venue visits, etc.), and you’ll receive a notification as soon as you earn one.
Weekly and monthly challenges, complete with progress bars and countdowns (e.g., "Ends in 3 days"). These are separate from permanent achievements and are designed to give you a reason to come back each week.
3-tier anniversary laurels for long-time members: Laurel (1–2 years), Silver Laurel (3–4 years), and Gold Laurel (5+ years)—displayed on your profile next to "Member since [year]."
If you save your 3rd blend or redeem your first "Brasa" (reward point), we might ask for a review on the app store—just this once, and never right when you first open the app.

👋 A personalized first-day experience

If you sign up now, you won’t land on an empty feed. Our new onboarding process asks about your preferred brands and flavor profiles, suggests interesting accounts to follow, and prompts you to enable location services so we can show you the nearest lounges. As a result, your "For You" tab moves beyond a simple chronological feed and begins prioritizing what actually interests you.

📣 Share your world with a single tap

Share blends and your "Wrapped" directly to social media. From any blend’s detail page or your monthly "Wrapped" summary, you can share to Instagram, TikTok, or anywhere else with just one tap—a link to your content is always included.
Your profile, with a QR code and custom link. Generate a QR code for your profile—which you can copy or share directly—and customize your unique link: humarea.app/@your_username. - All links you share (mixes, profiles, posts, places) now point to the humarea.app domain.

🗺️ A map of places that finally looks great

We know the "Places" map was lacking: it looked grayish in dark mode, and you couldn't zoom in as much as you’d like. We’ve rebuilt it from the ground up:

A true dark mode—no more washed-out gray.
No more zoom limits—you can now zoom in all the way to the street level without pixelation.
City, region, and country names in Spanish (previously, some appeared in English).
Lounges and shops are still grouped into clusters when many are nearby, just as before, but everything now loads and moves much more smoothly.

✨ A more refined navigation experience

We’ve redesigned the bottom navigation bar with a frosted-glass effect—featuring true "Liquid Glass" on iPhones running iOS 26 or later, and an elegant native blur effect on other iOS devices and the web.

🔧 Fixes that couldn't wait

We fixed a bug where notifications for comments on mixes were never arriving (no bell alert, push notification, or email)—this had been an issue for a while, but it’s now resolved.
A new notification has been added for when your mix enters the Top 100 trending list.
Fixed an issue on Android where it wasn't possible to navigate through "Wrapped" slides using certain gestures.
If a payment fails, we’ll now notify you well in advance (and provide options) before your Club Humarea membership is actually deactivated.
